All dogs welcome!
The White House Pet Hotel welcomes dogs of all sizes, breeds and temperaments. If your dog is social with others, he will be put into a play group during the day and allowed to play in our free-range outdoor dog park. If your dog is not social with others, we offer additional private play yards where they can enjoy play time with a staff member or relaxation time under a tree.
Vaccinations and Flea Treatment
All dogs must be current on vaccinations and in good health. If your dog appears to exhibit symptoms of illness at the time of check-in, we will be unable to accept the dog for boarding. We do require proof of vaccinations (DHLPP and Bordetella) and a Rabies certificate to keep on file. You must bring this paperwork the day of boarding or have your vet fax the paperwork to 318-550-3767 prior to check-in.
All dogs must also be current on flea treatment (Frontline, Advantage, etc.). Pets that enter the facility with fleas or ticks will be bathed and given flea treatment at the owner's expense.
Personal Belongings
The White House Pet Hotel provides bedding for dogs that board with us. We additionally provide bowls, treats and toys. We prefer that you do not bring personal items as we cannot guarantee their condition upon check-out.
Feeding/Medication
The White House Pet Hotel provides Purina brand dog food for all dogs boarding with us. Owners are encouraged to bring their own brand of dog food as most dogs are sensitive to sudden dietary changes. If bringing your own food, please provide ample food for your dogs entire stay. We do ask that food bags be no larger than 20 lbs. and labeled with the Dogs first and last Name.
We feed on your dog's schedule whether he is fed once or twice a day. We give prescribed pill medication at no charge.
Check-In/Check-Out
Our hours are Monday - Friday from 8am - 1pm & 3:30pm – 6pm.
Saturdays we are open from 8am – Noon and Sundays and from 4pm – 6pm.
Weekends are for Pick-ups and Drop- Offs Only!
Check-Out time is 12:00 Noon (except for Sundays)
WE ARE CLOSED ON THE FOLLOWING HOLIDAYS:
New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
Early/Late Check-Out
There is a ½ days boarding fee for picking up your dog after 12:00 Noon check-out.
After Hours Pick-up & Drop- Off
After hours pick-up and drop-off MUST BE PRE-ARRANGED!
0 – 60 Minutes Before or After Closing is $20.00 / 60 Minutes or more is $35.00
Payment
The White House Pet Hotel only accepts checks and cash. Payment is due upon check-out. If owner is unable to make payment, the pet is held at the owner's expense until such time as the owner can provide payment.
Cancellation Policy
During non-holidays, we have a minimum 48 cancellation notice or 50% of the original boarding fee is required as payment. During holidays, we have a minimum 5 day cancellation policy or 50% of the original boarding fee is required as payment.
