Is Doggy Day Care available 7 days a week?
Doggie Day Care is offered Monday - Friday, unless your pet is boarding with us over the weekend, in which it is offered everyday!

Should I bring my dog's belongings (bed, food, etc) to Doggy Day Care?
It is not necessary that you bring anything for your pet. We have food, bedding, toys, water bowls, etc. for each dog in the facility. You may bring their things if you like, however, it is not required. We feed Dog Chow and Puppy Chow to our dogs and guests. If you would like to bring your dog's own food, please make sure it is in a container clearly labeled.

How big are your Guest Rooms & how are they different?
We have 3 different sizes of Guest Rooms with Patios.
5'x25', 7'x25' and an 8'x30'

Our Indoor Suites are spacious and cozy. 5'x8'

Our Guest Rooms are the LARGEST IN SHREVEPORT! Each room has its own doggy door leading to it's own private patio. None of our dogs have to be leashed walked. They all get to go out to their own private "backyard"!

Do you board Puppies?
We board puppies as long as the puppy has had his complete set of shots. Most dogs usually are not fully vaccinated until they are 4 months old. Proof of vaccinations is required.

How often is my dog played with or taken out?
If your dog is social with other dogs, we make sure he gets plenty of play time in our Dog Park area. The dogs are on a constant cycle of being let out to go to the bathroom, socialize with other dogs, and/or playing with one of our kennel staff. When your dog is not in the Dog Park, he is allowed to rest in his room.

If your dog is not social with other dogs, he will still get out numerous times a day, either to play in one of the Private Dog Park areas or to be taken for a personal walk.

We also come back out later in the evening (usually around 9pm) to let all the dogs back out one more time to use the restroom before lights out.

Do you put small dogs and large dogs together?
It really depends on the nature of the dog. We will not put a teacup Chihuahua in the same room as an immature Mastiff who may get overly excited and jump on the little dog. We pick and choose which dogs will socialize best so we can divide them into play groups throughout the day.

Additionally, we have smaller Dog Park areas for smaller and non-social dogs to enjoy some free-range play time.

Are there extra fees for giving medications or specific food?
No, there are no extra charges for medication. You are welcome to bring your own brand of dog food with you if you wish. There is no extra charge for using your own food or using ours.

If your dog is on a specialized diet, such as a raw diet, we do charge a $5.00 fee per day.

Please be sure to bring your dogs food with you and instructions if needed.

What shots are required?
Dogs must be current on all vaccinations. All dogs must have their Rabies, Distemper and Bordatella (Kennel Cough) shots.
